Since graduating from The Actors' Program in 2023, Junghwi has gained numerous credits internationally and locally, ranging in both film and theatre. Her versatility in performance has landed her in roles such as Klara and The Sun, an upcoming feature film directed by Taika Waititi- currently in post production. Furthermore, Junghwi was cast in Theatre Works' main production of their 2025 season, Love and Information in Melbourne, where her performance was critically acclaimed as a standout by reviewers from Theatre Travels, and My Melbourne Arts. Junghwi also comes from an athletic background of competitive sports, which has allowed her dominant and natural physicality to shine through in roles such as Tinkerbell in Auckland Theatre Company and NightSong's Peter Pan, where she had her professional theatre debut on the ASB Waterfront stage in 2024.
