Monish Anand is an experienced actor with a dynamic career spanning India and New Zealand since the late 1990s. He first gained attention through television with roles such as the commanding Sunil Kumar on Shortland Street, featuring in the compelling tele-feature In Dark Places, and more recently appearing in Raised by Refugees Season 2. On the big screen, he has appeared in Bollywood productions like Memsaab opposite Yukta Mookhey and the New Zealand feature Gupta vs Gordon. Most recently, Monish expanded his international presence by portraying Captain Shankar in the 2025 action-thriller Ice Road: Vengeance, starring opposite Liam Neeson.
