Te Rauhiringa (Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Apakura) is a bilingual Māori actor, presenter and voice artist working across film, television, theatre and commercial campaigns.
Her screen credits include the feature films Waru and Kāinga, the television series The Dead Lands and Shortland Street, and Ōkaiāu, the first vertical drama filmed entirely in te reo Māori. Her theatre credits include Hemo is Home, The Cherry Orchard (Auckland Theatre Company), Pūrāpurawhetū (Te Pou Theatre), and Mo and Jess Kill Susie.
As a presenter, Te Rauhiringa has fronted 1 News, Seven Sharp, Te Karere, Marae, and Te Matatini, the world's largest kapa haka festival, with extensive experience across live television, current affairs, factual and event broadcasting. She is also an experienced voice artist, with credits including the Māori-language dub of Molly of Denali and national campaigns for Auckland Transport.
Fluent in both te reo Māori and English, Te Rauhiringa is one of Aotearoa's few performers with established careers in acting, presenting and voice performance.
